Mecca – The holiest city of Islam

Today, more than 13 million Muslims visit Mecca anually. Muslims are obliged to make a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. Then, they are known as hajj/hajja (one who made a pilgrimage to Mecca).

This is one of five pillars of Islam.

Look. Have you ever been to a crowded city like this?

This is the most sacred site in Islam - Kaaba.

This structure is the largest, tallest, biggest clock tower. It's also the second highest skyscraper in the world after Dubai's Burj Khalifa.
